Tong's Chicken Rice

Today didn;t get to eat chicken rice.. if my clicks follow me today.. you will know what happen..so today decided to cook chicken rice for my family.. it's been half a year since i cook chicken rice.. or even cook a proper meal..

Brought the chicken at NTUC after school today..

Items brought at NTUC:

1.A chicken
2.Cucumber
3.Chicken Gullet

This cost me $10.56


Ready to boil the chicken.. have to clean the inner body of the chicken..



this is the chicken Gullet..

I have to make my special Chicken rice chilli.. :P
ingredient use:
1.Garlic
2.Ginger
3.Chicken Oil
4.Chilli Padi
5.Chicken Soup
6.Vinegar
7.Salt


was multitasking.. hahas.. cooking and using my lab top in the kitchen lol..
After boiling the chicken for 45 min with the chicken breast face down.. turning every 20 min.. i've cooked the chicken.. after 45 min.. took the chicken out and put it directly into a pot of cold FREEZING water.. for 15 min..then i start to cut the cucumber,cook the soup and rice..
Cooking of the rice..
Fry the giner and garlic in sesame oil.. wash the rice.. and measure how many ml of chicken soup needed to cook the rice.. then after frying the ginger and garlic.. pour it into the rice cooker..and pour the soup into the rice and start to cook.. and most importantly the pandan leaf have to put into the rice cooker..
if you wan to have boiled egg.. put into the rice cooker to cook together..
