Woke up at 6.15am sharp today.. cos i need to prepare quite alot of things.. like pouring a bottle of barley drink for my dar2.. and the rest have to put into the fridge.. need to pack my bag.. transfer file to my thumbdrive for my friend to see.. and i left my house real early today..
bus came at 6.50am..reach the interchange at 7.00am..board the train at 7.05am..reach school at 7.30am.. my lesson start at 8am.. so i waited at the bench while reading my 'Today' newspaper..
while walking to school, i read the newspaper.. had a strong feeling.. donno why.. yes main headline Obama had won..he is the new president for america.. he is the first black president of america.. he is a black man in the white house.. so what? who cares? as long as he is a good president i don mind.
When this word Racisim came to my mind i will think of america.. maybe because of those movies or even words of others.. i know that being a black in america is a real suffer.. because alot of priviledge is given to the white..and white discriminate the Black.. ppl beat up the black, spit of them, treat them like not even a human... in my heart i just feel sad for them.. how come they are not treated fairly? how come they don get what they deserve? they are the came, created by god.. why discriminate them because of their body color?
Will america really change? i read the news.. it said [abstract from Today] : Barack Hussein Obama- won enough electoral votes to become President of the United States. This moment was necessary, for despite a century of civil right legislation, judicial interventiuons and social activism, the civic war could never truly be said to have ended until America's White majority actually elected an African-American as president.
That is what happened on Tuesday night and that is why we awake this morning to a different country. The struggle for equal rights is far from over, but we start afresh now from a whole new baseline. Let every child and every citizen and every new immigrant know that from this day forward everything really is possible in America.
After reading it.. i feel that there is really a coming change in America.. Having a new president is no longer a one country thingy.. Everyone in the world is supporting, because America is the Economy.
I almost wanted to cry when i saw this: [Abstract from today] i was born in civic right, and i didn't expect that i can have this day to come.
I'm really glad that Obama is the President now of America..and i really hope that he can bring equal right to everyone..
