Pyar

What do you mean by Pyar? I ask myself many times. Is being together, writing a message one every month, calling one another to regards on urgent matter, meet each other for official matters call Pyar? I been thinking lately about this question. And of course everyone would say: NAHI! That's not Pyar, that's bullshit.

I agreed, that's bullshit.

Then what is pyar?

You will think of her frquently, you wish that she was here with you, when you are working or even real busy, once you see her online, you would put down everything on hand just to be the first to tell her "Hi" before anyone could. You will start calling her names like:

1:Dear
2: Baby
3: Honey
4: Sweetie
5: Sweet heart

or even more directly: Girlfriend

Unknowingly, Pyar came knocking on my door.

In India -

Pyar: Knock Knock, anyone home?
Suraj: (Couldn't hear the knock because ears was covered by jealousy)

Back in Singapore -

Pyar: Knock Knock, anyone home?
Suraj: (Couldn't hear the knock because the knock was a distant knock)

Suraj went to open the door.

Why? youmust be thinking? Suraj couldn't hear the knock, why would he open the door? Did i write anything wrong?

Nope, i did not write it wrongly. Suraj didn't hear the knock through his ears, he open the door because he heard the knock through his heart.

I was thinking it's impossible to carry on a distant relationship - Suraj Singh

She's on my mind ever since i met her. Her name would appear to me every now and then. I miss her, definitely. I would put down everything on hand just to talk to her. I would show her care and concern. I have the urge to take care of her, I would want her to marry me. Pyar came to find me because of her. I'm in love with her.

Many question pops up in my mind. How am i going to have this relationship with her? I'm in Singapore. By the time i settle myself in India, She would have married into someone's family.

I keep telling myself, there's a will there's a way Suraj!

1. Graduating in Apr 2012
2. Serving Army for 2 years ( Compulsory for all Singaporean guy)
3. Fly to New Delhi and take my degree in University of Delhi
4. Rent a house in New Delhi or Mumbai
5. Find a magazine firm in New Delhi or Mumbai as a writer
6. Work for 12 years and pick up Hindi as 2nd Language

Okay, let's say she is willing to wait for me. I say if she is willing, she will have to wait for me for 7 years. Because i have to serve the country for 2 years, i will be taking my degree which takes 4 years, i have to work for one year before i'm stable enough to ask her to marry me.

All this question seems to makes up the impossibilities.

By the time i ask her for marriage, she's probably someone's wife for 4-5 years. Her parents probably get her a good family and arrange for the marriage. It's typical in India isn't it? To a certain stage in life, your parent will probably arrange the marriage and ask you to attend the meeting, and you have no say about it but to follow what your parents have to say. This is the first problem that vex me.

Second problem: i'm not a local. Will her family accept a foreigner as their daughter's husband?

Third problem: If let's say her family accept me, will my family accept her? Like the book named: '2 states' which is wrote by Chetan Bhagrat. Marriage in India doesn't mean you and me! You love her, she love you, your family love her, her family love youo, you marry her, she marry you, your family marry her, her family marry you before everything is perfect for you.

Fourth problem: What if she doesn't like me? I'm not a Indian, to be exact pure Indian, because i'm a Indian in a chinese body.

So what now?

I don't know, we are very close friend now. Closer than anyone you can imagine.

Suraj: Pyar, you came knocking on my door and throw me all the problems but no solutions.
Pyar: Isn't me the solution?
