cHINGAY 2010/02/19

Yesterday i went to F1 pit to attend Chingay 2010 parade. Reach F1 pit at around 6.45pm and i was not allow to enter the parade because the ticket wrote admission is at 7pm, so the usher wouldn't allow us in.



I was given two tickets at the blue sector, so i brought one of my friend there to experience chingay parade 'LIVE'.



We went into the parade and gotten our seats at 7pm sharp, we was seated at the second row counting from the front. The parade start at 8.30pm so you must be thinking what we saw through out the 1 and a half hour? What we saw there, was last minute rehearsal from the performers. We went there this early, because we could actually settle down before everything starts.



My friend was sweating away due to the long journey into F1 PIT.



This are some of the rehearsal move we saw during the 1 and a half hour of waiting.



We saw Gurmit singh and Quan Yi Foong rehearsing their parts on the parade ground and Gurmit was cracking lots of jokes,we was laughing all the way.

After i gotten my media pass from my friend, i went down to the parade ground to take some shots before the parade starts. I walk to some of my friends who are performing to take a shot of them in action.



This is my friend Angela, she is performing under PAYM.

And this is my friend Isabel, also performing under PAYM. It's so cool seeing them in make ups preparing to perform for the night.

By the time i reach my seat, the parade is about to start. Of course, the most exciting part is at the beginning. I took a video of the fire cracker in action.

Lion dance took over the fire cracker with their dance stunt.





The Chingay parade was officially open by our Prime Minister Lee Hisen Loong.





The butterfly lover took over the parade with their purple costume, it's really different watching on TV. You will feel that you are part of them. The butterfly are dancing throughout the parade ground.





Have you notice this like i told you guys? It's one of the performance with the japanese soka.



The overall experience was 'Thumb ups', there was WOW everywhere throughout the performance. We are not just an audience, we are part of the performers. If you ask me, if i will come and watch Chingay again i will say YES!



Even the kid took of his clothes while watching Chingay 2010, hahahaha.

If you are going to catch Chingay 2010 tonight, do remember the parade start at 8.00pm instead of 8.30pm. And not forgetting to join in the fun at Singapore Grandest and Largest Street party at F1 PIT at 10.15pm right after the parade.
